Do you know what Austria’s national sport is? Damn right, it’s skiing and it would be a pity to do an exchange in our beautiful country without at least having tried to balance yourself on two wooden sticks (or one if you’re on the dark side with the cookies a.k.a. a snowboarder). This is why we created the ESN A.L.P.S. - Action - Leisure - Party - Ski for you!

However, for us Austrians spending a day on the snowy slopes is only part of the skiing experience. When the ski lifts close around 4pm, Austrians often passionately engage in something called Aprés Ski – something you surely wouldn’t want to miss out on!

From 17.03.-19.03. exchange students from all over Austria will gather in Mölltal, a true glacier with skiing slopes, to spend an incredible weekend full of skiing, party and fun!

► HOW MUCH DOES THE A.L.P.S. ADVENTURE COST?
The cost depends on the city of your departure:
Vienna: 240€/250€ with/without ESNcard
Graz: different registration system and later start of the registration -> https://esn.htugraz.at

►For all Erasmus Students from non SEPA country (without EU-Bank-Account): We won't accept your bank transfer payments due to additional bank expenses.
You can either find yourself a friend that has an SEPA-Bank-Account that can buy ticket also for you via bank transfer or you need to pay in cash.
This is possible in the Office of ESN Uni Wien only(!) on Wednesdays 6-7pm - Universitätsring 1, 1010 Wien (main building of uni wien). More information here: https://esnuniwien.com/where-find-us .
Mind that this option is ONLY for Erasmus Students that do not have SEPA-Bank-Account, everyone else pays via bank transfer.

► WHAT ABOUT CORONA?
Currently there are no mandatory corona measures for travelling, skiing or eating in restaurants. In case of measures modification we will announce the changes per email. Registered participation who won't accept those changes and simultaneously won't undertake steps to fulfill those measures won't be accepted to the participation at the A.L.P.S. event. Money refund in this case is only then possible if there is an applicant on the waiting list who will participate instead.

▬▬▬▬▬▬ CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL ▬▬▬▬▬▬
Neither the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), ESN Austria, the sections of ESN Austria, the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH), the Students’ Union at any Higher Education Institution, nor the organizers of this event in person, are in any way liable for accidents or other damage occurred during the trip. In case of damage, ESN Austria has the right to keep the collected deposits from the people responsible for the damage. A third party may invoice the costs for the damage, which has to be covered by the perpetrator. Unless the amount of collected deposit covers the total costs, additional costs have to be covered by the people responsible. If no perpetrator can be found or a crime has been committed, the police have to be informed. Every participant is responsible for herself/himself. We also exclude any liability concerning lost baggage and/or valuables.

We can withdraw from the contract without delay if a participant lastingly disturbs the carrying out of the trip or if unforeseeable circumstances like natural phenomena, strikes or severe illness of the organizer force us to do so. Benefits not taken advantage of are non-refundable.

∙ pictures taken during this event can be published, distributed and/or made otherwise publicly available;
∙ pictures sent to the Organization Committee can be freely used for promotional purposes.
